In February 2020, we executed an order for the transportation of the Hitachi ZX 225 US single-bucket crawler excavator (crawling digger). The departure point was the Saarbrücken city, located in the far western part of Germany and the destination was Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. The excavator was transported on a special car platform.
Despite the fact that during loading, the excavator boom was in a folded position, the means of transport occupied almost the whole area of the platform. The total weight of the excavator was 25 tons, which, taking into account the weight of the platform itself and of the towing means of transport, imposed some restrictions on movement on certain European routes. Thanks to the impeccable work of the logisticians of DV GROUP, the preparation for the transportation of the excavator and the transportation process itself went without any deviations.
