In fall 2020, the company DV GROUP LOGISTICS successfully implemented another project for the transportation of oversized cargo. This time we provided fast and safe transportation of the Cross Slot drill from Basingstoke, England. Final destination - Republic of Moldova, Edinet city.
The transported seed drill was 7,3 meters long, 3 meters wide, 3,3 meters high, and its weight was 11 tons. Our specialists have chosen the best option – a car platform that best suits the parameters of the transported cargo. Competent fixation of the seed drill on the platform contributed to the complete safety of all its elements, at the same time contributing to the safety of the whole transportation process.
The course of transportation was indirectly influenced by the quarantine measures introduced at that time by European countries due to the pandemic. Any border crossing point could be closed at any time, and only thanks to the competent actions of our logisticians, the cargo proceeded without delay. The operative information received from our European partners and transport workers, with whom DV GROUP maintains long-term friendly relations, also played a significant role.
